Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants wearing protective gloves throw punches at each other in a boxing ring. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent while avoiding being hit. Matches are typically divided into rounds, and fighters may win by knockout, where one opponent is unable to continue, or by judges’ decision based on points accumulated throughout the fight. Boxing is governed by a set of rules that dictate the conduct of the match, including legal strikes, scoring criteria, and safety regulations. It has a long history and is practiced both as a competitive sport and as a form of exercise.
