Animation

Animation is a process that creates the illusion of motion and change by displaying a series of static images in rapid succession. These images, or frames, can be hand-drawn, painted, or created digitally, and they simulate movement when viewed in a sequence. The core principle of animation is based on the phenomenon known as persistence of vision, where the human eye retains images for a fraction of a second, allowing multiple frames to blend into a fluid motion. Animation can encompass various styles and techniques, including 2D animation, 3D animation, stop motion, and CGI (computer-generated imagery). It is commonly used in films, television, video games, and online media to tell stories, convey information, or create artistic expressions. The term “animation” can also refer to the field of study and practice that involves the creation of animated content.
